Zebulon was involved in the war of 1812 and as a result of the war Cholera was bad in that area and he contacted it.. When he died his real estate property was turned over to Jeremiah. When Jeremiah was killed the property was passed to Rufus Robinson. Rufus Robinson was the Guardian of Zebulon's children. Then in 1837 Rufus Robinson deeded the property to Thomas Snyder.
Inventory of Zebulons estate was signed by his widow Esther on 2 Jul 1813 He was buried in Clarence Rural Cemetery.273 He.589 Rufus R. Robinson the guardian of Zebulon and Ester's children was a descendant of John Robinson, the Pastor to the Pilgrims. About 1609, the Rev John Robinson and other Separatists settled in Leyden, the Netherlands. Later members of this group became known as the Pilgrims when they immigrated to America and settled in Plymouth. In the 1820's, was purchasing land around Hammond Lake in West Bloomfield, Michigan. By 1824, most of the land around Hammond Lake had been purchased by Rufus R. Robinson of Erie County, NY. Rufus is buried in Michigan Purchased land In NY Township 12 Range 7 in 1804 from the Holland Co. Children put under the Gaurdian ship of Rufas R Robinson on 15 Aug 1814
